Steve Klein addresses current issues impacting Yelm and vicinity and provides a meeting place for anyone with an interest in this area to provide their ideas and opinions
Dear Steve,
Received the poster stating a tree has been planted in Yelm in Memory of John. Thank you so very much. That would definitely have brought a tear to his eyes. John loved Yelm so much! We both did. But I was feeling strongly that we needed to get back to the Dallas area near our family members, especially since John’s health was getting a little worse. We had been regularly exercising for years. And while at the gym on a stationary bike (I was exercising a few feet behind him to keep an eye on him), he looked at me like, “Are we leaving soon?” Not long after that (I guess he had enough of that exercise stuff) he gently tumbled onto the carpet and that was pretty much it. About three hours later in the er he was gone. He couldn’t move or respond, but we all had an opportunity to say our goodbyes, which was a blessing. (I reminded him to go to the light and to come visit me if he could d:-) )
Thanks again,
Terri
