Tad Stillwell was chosen by the council to be the Mayor Pro-tem, a two year assignment.
Andrew Kollar is leaving the City of Yelm for Yelm Community Schools. The city’s Communications Specialist post is now open on the city’s Human Resources page with a salary of $35,880 ‐ $42,840 (2020), a part‐time position working up to thirty (30) hours per week. Read more about this job. Kollar’s previous position was the 2019 Yelm Community Schools bond campaign manager and prior to that, a reporter with the Nisqually Valley News.
The city updated the Public Works Director position with a salary of $107,611 – $129,189 (2020) and has now posted this available position in seeking qualified applicants. Read more about this job.
