The Thurston County Auditor released the first count of Proposition One, the Yelm Community Schools Levy. The results are too close to call:
Yes = 2,366 votes = 51.8%
No = 2,186 votes = 48.02%
Total votes cast = 4,552 = 100%

Half of the people are forced to pay higher taxes by the other half … what is considered ‘democracy’ always leads to tyranny. Why not upgrade the curriculum from its mediocre state ….
