- From Yelm Community Schools:
“To YHS Students: These stadium lights represent the bright potential that you all have. They represent the fact that we have not forgotten about you, that we are here to support you, and we will return, stronger than ever. These lights represent the milestones that you all deserve to celebrate this year, the bright and shining light you all represent, and the memories that you will remember and cherish in the future. They are a symbol of perseverance, of determination, and that when we can return to our school community – a reminder that we should pack every class, every gym, every venue, and every competition, fill every seat available and cheer every student on with compassion and enthusiasm and cherish each and every one of those moments. We miss you, we love you, and we can’t wait to see you again. Tonight those lights burn for you and after tonight, Friday night from (20:20) 8:20pm-9:20 pm #ThisisY #BeTheLight #TornadoPride #WeGotThis”
