FREE Online Workshop through the Homegrown Yelm Project, Wednesday, June 24th, 5:30-7:00pm
“Do you raise chickens or other farm animals in an urban setting? Do you compost your kitchen scraps and garden clippings? Check out this workshop for resources, ideas, and best practices for how to safely manage mud, manure, and home compost systems in an urban setting. Great ideas for urban lots and rental properties will be provided. Follow up technical assistance for individuals living in the Yelm area is available through this funding. Online handout packets will be shared with participants and the meeting will be recorded and available after the fact. Closed captioning and Spanish language translation available.”
