  1. COUNTY, STATE AND NATIONAL NEWS:

I do not understand how people can ignore the simple fact that covid-19 is deadly. Wearing a mask does not guarantee your safety no more than wearing a seat belt does. It is a precautionary measure. Unlike seat belts, masks protect your neighbor not you. Maybe that’s the problem: I don’t have symptoms. I am not wearing a mask, “It’s not my problem.”

    TRUMP’S PRESIDENCY:

I have addressed this presidency’s arrogant authoritarian behavior in my own blog. But I also take issue with the potential extreme socialistic tendencies of the Democratic party. In the national elections we have four choices vote for fascism; vote for socialism; do not vote; or, write in your vote. It seems to me that regardless of how we vote nationally we are edging toward one form or another of enslavement. Vigilance of our local and state campaigns is all the more important.
