With Trump Donor in Charge, USPS May Shut Locations, Cut Service Before Election
My father is turning over in his grave. He was a mail carrier for 40 plus years (includes WW II , military service). He serviced the same route for most of those forty years. I recall that at Christmas time he would get more gifts than all of the family put together everything from Mogen David wine to handkerchiefs. Ahh well, Congress giveth and Congress can taketh. But can the Postmaster General shut down USPS without Congressional approval?
He is forcing the USPS to not sort and deliver all of the daily mail, a “slow down,” as it were. Congress will be looking at this.
