“Approximately 70 World War II aircraft will take to the skies over Washington D.C. on September 25th. Starting at 11:30am ET [8:30am PT], these historically sequenced warbird formations will fly over the Washington Mall in two minute intervals. Event Organizers: General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATC), International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) and Commemorative Air Force (CAF).

Blogger Klein is a long-time member of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and flew in B-29 Fifi over Yelm in 2014.
