- This is exactly correct and indicative that the time has come where I must say that Edwards should be replaced!
- I have watched Michael Steadman’s actions on the Lacey City Council for many years and support him as the right candidate at the right time for Thurston County’s Commission.

| We are fighting right wing extremists right here in Thurston County, and I need your help to defeat a Trump minion, Gary Edwards. Edwards is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He does not “prefer independent” as it says on the ballot, he prefers the right wing of the Trump Party. Running as an independent is a ruse. Edwards served as Thurston County Sheriff as a Republican, and has recently spoken at a militia-style gun rally and at the anti public health/mask rally at the Capitol. Edwards is as dangerous to Thurston County as Trump is to the nation. At that gun rally last October, Edwards must have assumed nobody was paying attention. Thankfully the Seattle Times was, and they reported that he and the current county sheriff whipped the extremists into a lather with talk of “revolution” and the need to ensure Trump continues to pack the courts. |
| We advanced past the primary election in my district, with a larger number of votes than the Democratic challenger, Kelsey Hulse, had in 2016, which is exciting news! Fortunately, the general election is countywide, and our chances of defeating Trump/Edwards agenda is much greater if the people of our county realize that the only reason Edwards runs as an independent is that he can’t win this county as a Republican. I’ve been proud to serve on the Lacey City Council, and have endorsements of the vast majority of the elected officials in our area, including Congressman Heck, Senator Hunt, Representative Dolan, Mayor Selby, and many others. Will you join in supporting my campaign against Donald Trump’s local champion now? |

This is what I have been saying too — this guy is NO INDEPENDENT. He is only claiming to be that in order to win election in a predominantly Blue county.
I was so inspired that Michael Steadman clearly laid out the facts, that I asked him for permission to post!
