“Providence returns to no-visitors policy as COVID-19 Delta variant cases rise” I was about to object strongly to this policy until I saw an exception for a “essential support person.” During my wife’s illness I was not allowed access to her while she was in hospital. Those were very trying times. I am glad that Providence recognizes that impact of loved ones in the recovery of the ill.
