I’m not really thrilled about EXPLOSIVE GROWTH for Yelm. Regardless of the traffic solutions, which will be completed way after the next phase of buildings are, no doubt. Yeah yeah you can’t stop change. But Yelm is nice how it is, it will change drastically soon. RIP Yelm.
I agree, especially that the United Way-funded 1995 Yelm Vision Plan created and adopted under the last great mayor, Kathy Wolfe, has never been adhered. That would be a starting point here to design a beautiful city, although the horse is now out of the barn.
