
I-5 Construction in Tacoma to be completed by end of month
+ KING-5 TV News, Seattle: I-5 construction project in Tacoma enters final stages – WSDOT has announced that the final stretch of roadwork is underway for the I-5 through Tacoma.
“After more than two decades, construction on the Tacoma portion of I-5 is coming to an end. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced that work crews will be paving the final section of highway this month.
“Once completed, the interstate’s HOV system will be connected between state Route 16 in Gig Harbor and I-5 in King County.”
“So far, there isn’t a specific date on when it will be completed, but WSDOT said the work will be done by the end of the month.” Read more

+ KING-5 TV News, Seattle: FAA clears Boeing to resume deliveries of 787 Dreamliner – Federal safety officials confirmed they will let Boeing resume deliveries of the 787 Dreamliner. Boeing is expected to start shipping the jets in the coming days.
