How should Thurston County spend $10 million in ARPA funds? Officials want your input
From The Olympian:
Take the online survey until Friday, Oct. 28.
“The Thurston County Board of Commissioners have $10 million in American Rescue Plan funds to spend. And it’s asking the public for input on where the money should go.
“According to a Friday [Sept. 16] news release from the Board, the county received the money as part of the federal response to public health and economic effects brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the release, the funding allows the county to assist residents, businesses and nonprofits in recovering from the pandemic.
“People are invited to take the Thurston County COVID-19 Recovery Fund survey to provide input on which projects the $10 million should go to. The online survey will be open until Friday, Oct. 28.
