October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month
From the American Red Cross:
Every two minutes, a person in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer — that’s a staggering statistic. Cancer and its treatment options can damage blood cells, requiring patients to need blood transfusions.
This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re asking all our dedicated (and new!) donors to come in to donate blood in honor of cancer patients and their inspiring journeys. As a special thank you, those who come to give blood Oct. 1-31 will receive a $5 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice.^
There are over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. You could be a part of the recovery of even more survivors. Can patients count on you to help in the fight against breast cancer?
