As part of an effort to provide our local community a place on the internet to post announcements, advertise local wares and services, display local business ads, and much more, I have created a craigslist-type website called NeighborlyNet.com. You can put in a posting for selling something, asking for help with something, you want to donate something, you have an idea that you want to bring together a group of people about, a healing focus request for someone, an announcement for an event, a fundraiser, whatever the need is. However, this concept will only work if people take part in it, so that there are enough pertinent ads/info to make it worth one’s while to check it out and use. Please check it out and use it. You can create up to 60 postings a month! This service is free because we need more ways to connect locally with one another and to have alternative ways to trade and prosper together. It is called “Neighborly Net” for a reason. We are neighbors and we can help ourselves and others right here in Yelm and surrounding communities. So, give it a whirl and let me know what you think!
