From the Yelm Chamber of Commerce’s new Executive Director

Hi Everyone, 

My name is Amanda Munoz, and I would like to introduce myself as the new Executive Director at the Yelm Chamber of Commerce. I am excited to work with you all and am looking forward to meeting you personally over the next few weeks. 

As the Executive Director my priority is to provide leadership in Yelm and support the members of the Yelm Chamber of Commerce. I look froward to taking an active role in the community and developing strong relationships within the community. I am excited to work with the board and our members to increase our presence within the community. 

Previously I worked for nonprofit agencies in both the healthcare and education fields. In these roles, I focused heavily on community engagement, marketing, and event planning/coordination. I look forward to sharing my skills and experience with my own community.   

I would also like to share a little about myself. I am married to my wonderful husband, Josh, who is a veteran of the United States Air Force. We have two boys who both attend the Yelm Community Schools. We are active in the community—both of my boys play sports, and we love to eat at our local restaurants. When it’s sunny out you can find us at the Yelm City Park most Saturdays.
