State officials propose new single-lane roundabout on State Route 507 near Yelm

The public can comment on the proposal through March 24.

From The Olympian:

The public can comment on plans to build a new roundabout on State Route 507 near Yelm through March 24. The Washington State Department of Transportation announced the feedback period in a Thursday news release. The proposed single-lane roundabout would replace a “T” intersection on SR 507 at Vail Road Southeast. A roundabout should reduce potential crashes and keep traffic flowing at the intersection, according to WSDOT. The department decided on the proposal after conducting a routine review of the rural intersection.
