Emphasis Patrol
From Sheriff Sanders on Facebook:
I woke up this morning to the sad news that we’ve had our second fatality collision on Bald Hill Rd SE within three days, as well as a number of additional non-fatal collisions in the area over the last week.
I asked one of my patrol Lieutenants to reach out to Target Zero, and we were approved funding to open up emphasis patrols for aggressive and impaired driving through the weekend focusing on the Bald Hill Rd and greater Vail area. Expect a heavier police presence.
Please drive sober and courteous to other drivers around you.
