Celebrate Mayor for the Day Jasmine on April 6th!

Yelm City Hall hosted a very special visitor last week when fourth grader Jasmine joined City of Yelm staff as Mayor for the Day.
During her day, she met with each of the departments, toured City Hall, Yelm Police Department, Public Works, and called the City Council meeting to order. At that City Council meeting, she also proclaimed a free ice cream day.
We’re sure Mayor Jasmine will grow into a great leader! Everyone is invited to stop into Yelm City Hall on Thursday, April 6th, from 1 to 4 pm to pick up an ice cream treat, courtesy of our Mayor for the Day, Jasmine.
