The City of Yelm invites residents and visitors to take advantage of their Parks and Recreation Programming.

Yelm’s Parks Passport Program introduces Yelm ‘s young (and young at heart) to our parks, as they earn stickers at different events throughout the year. At the end of the year, kids can redeem their passports for fun prizes. 

Our next sticker stops: 
May 4th: Cochrane, Longmire, Yelm City Park
May 27th: Yelm Farmers Market
June 1st: Cochrane, Longmire, Yelm City Park

Spring Cookies

This class is for the beginning cookier or for the person who is curious what cookie decorating is all about. If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you’re trying to up your game for the holidays, then this class is for you!

We will be doing a fun Spring theme set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating.

We provide everything you need, from the cookies, icing and sprinkles, and also a box to take your awesome creations home in – we just need you! You will also receive a special gift, which is a cookie “tool box” as a take home, that includes an icing scribe tool, scissors, piping practice pages and recipes. Register here.

Come out for a relaxing evening of community & creativity as local Artist and Creativity Coach, Michelle Osborne guides you to create your own unique wildflower painting .

No artistic experience required! This fun, simple, intuitive painting process is perfect for anyone age 12 & up.

Honey Tasting Cover

Experience for yourself the art and skill in distinguishing various aromas and flavors in honey.

Each participant will enjoy the flavors of different honeys, learn how to taste them (just like you’d taste wine!), and go home with a very special goodie bag.
