- Editor’s note: I verified with city planners that El Rey Burro’s project is still on-track. Their response:
“604 Yelm Ave. W. (El Rey Burro’s site plan) was approved on June 6th, 2022 by our department. This project should be on to the civil phase currently.”

Great Food most of the Time, especially when they hear you want beans on the Beef Burrito. I have problems there where I usually don’t experience the kinda of things I don’t experience anywhere else. Like one lady trying to deliberately cheat me out of money. Also was discriminated against too. I still really like some the People even though the Person that did this to me continued to work there with apparently no reprimand as far as I could see. I could be wrong but the lady was not honest, and prejudice. Needless to say I hardly go there, and have quit endorsing their business. I hope their English improves, and I hope my Spanish Improves also.
