SR 510 – Yelm Loop – Phase 2 Timeline now Spring 2024 – Fall 2026
Excerpt from WSDOT:
Crews will build the 3 remaining miles of SR 510 between Cullens Road and 170th Street Southeast in Yelm. The new connection, like the previously built Phase 1, is proposed to be a two-lane highway with bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
Timeline: Spring 2024 – Fall 2026
Project status: Pre-construction
Funding: $58.5 million
What to expect
This project has not yet started. The proposed alignment follows undeveloped WSDOT right of way.
A roundabout is planned at the intersection of SR 507 and 170th Street Southeast. Workers will create lanes for travelers to move through the work zone.
