“Yelm officers rescue woman from sinking car”

“A 30-year-old Spanaway woman was rescued by two Yelm police officers after her car crashed into a canal off Highway 507 near Vail Road SE Sunday.

Yelm Police Department says Deputy Brett Campbell and Officer Taylor responded to a 911 call around 2:30 a.m., and found the woman trapped inside her vehicle that was filling up with water,” quoting Seattle’s KOMO-TV 4 News (ABC).
