The Yelm City Administrator position was FINALLY posted on the City of Yelm public site almost 2 months after the position’s vacancy and almost five months after the position was known to become vacant after September 1st, previously announced June 5th when then-City Administrator Shelly Badger publicly gave a 90-day notice.

I am not impressed with our local newspaper that they would provide Mayor Harding a “bye” on this vacancy at City Hall for over 2 months in not covering this story. With so many issues in this town requiring a hands-on, experienced administrator that this position has not been posted in almost 5 months is questionable, at best.
