Rarely has any of the public shown an interest in the City of Yelm’s budget process over the last decade. Perhaps with three new incoming City Council members, who all ran on platforms of open government and inclusion of the public in the process, we’ll begin to see change where the public will feel a desire to participate, in that their views will now be welcomed.
“This IS Our town!” as Councilor-elect Joe DePinto’s campaign slogan proclaimed.
