Yelm Community Schools (YCS) Superintendent Brian Wharton conducted the first of two public sessions Monday evening to present the new YCS 5-year Strategic Plan and take comments from the public. The School Board, YCS Administration, and teaching staff are committed to making Yelm Community Schools a system of excellence for students and their families, from kindergarten through to graduation. Being a schools system that ranks above the state average is no longer a plateau the YCS leaders want to maintain, yet raising the bar even further.
