Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE) is currently hosting almost 1,000 students this week on their Yelm campus and participating from 32 countries from around the world. Their beginning level Class 101, open to the public, is being simultaneously translated on-site in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, French, and German, as participants are required to be on the Yelm campus with no live-streaming of this event provided.
RSE has continued to be an economic engine for dollars spent locally, with hundreds of students coming to Yelm from elsewhere to attend. Certain candidates [Kelsey Hulse for County Commissioner and Derek Maynes for LD2] for this Fall’s election recognized the contribution that RSE makes to the Thurston County economy by taking a stand to support all constituents in this jurisdiction, yet some of their opponents will not visit nor support this school, because of their philosophical differences with the curriculum, about which they know nothing except through innuendo and hearsay, and having chosen to disregard a large voting bloc in their midst.
Blogger Steve Klein is in his 31st year as an RSE student.

Greetings Steve…..Indeed the closed minded local politicians may not have yet recognized the economic contribution RSE locals have made to our community as they live in their limited opinions that is average social consciousness. However, let us hold them all dearly AS IF they DO KNOW our value to Yelm and perhaps OUR lofty thought can assist the changes of theirs! Much love to you…it was good to see you again at 101.
Hi Steve,
Is there any way of finding out if there are Ram students with rooms for rent long term in Yelm?
best way is http://www.bettyesads.com – that’s where folks post their ads.
